After degrees are conferred we will close the ceremony with:

The Arkansas Winds next concert explores the variety of uniquely American musical forms, from rags of Vaudeville to the musicals of Broadway to patriotic marches to the music of today's cinema. This concert also is a tribute to the Arkansas Winds long association with the Arts Center of the Ozarks -- the Band is donating all reciepts to the the Arts Center's Revitalization Campaign.

The concert takes place Sunday, May 6 at 3pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children.

Once again ensembles from the Arkansas Winds will be performing at the Fayetteville Barnes and Noble book store to raise funds for the band.
Barnes and Noble will donate a percentage of the sales made where patrons present a voucher. Ensembles include the Woodwind Choir, the Horn Quartet and the Saxotones, as well as solo performances. Come enjoy live music, buy books for yourself, gifts for your fiends and support the Band. Copies of vouchers are available by clicking on the image below, and can also be picked up from Band members in the store.

Our Bookfair id is #10615912. That number can also be used online during checkout at barnesandnoble.com from April 14th through April 19th. The Winds will receive a percentage of any net sales based on that id number during that time period.

Both concerts begin at 7pm. The Saturday concert is free; the Monday concert has a nominal admission charge of $2 for adults, with all proceeds supporting the Farmington High School Band.
